Pastor Derek L. Mayweather

Pastor Derek L. Mayweather is the leader of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in College Park, GA where he has served faithfully Pastor since March 2006. Pastor Mayweather has been called and anointed by God to serve the Body of Christ in the area of exhortation and deliverance. It is his desire to see the Body of Christ grow to maturity and excellence through the power of God. He displays an unparallel love for the people of God. Pastor Mayweather has a passion for preaching the Word of God and strengthening saints.

Pastor Mayweather has experienced the move of God in his ministry through crusades, revivals, and retreats. He has traveled throughout the United States and Africa preaching and teaching the Word of God.

Pastor Mayweather has been married to his partner in ministry Elder Teon Mayweather since September 2002. They have a son Derek Mayweather II and a daughter Cerrigan.

Pastor Mayweather is passionate about preaching and teaching the Word of God and operates under the Scripture as recorded by Luke 4:18-19, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
